CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Workshops being held in West Virginia are aiming to improve energy efficiency at commercial and government buildings.

The first of the workshops it scheduled for Friday in Triadelphia.

The workshops are sponsored by Industries of the Future-WV, the West Virginia University Industrial Assessment Center and the state Division of Energy.

They are designed for building managers, operators and maintenance personnel. The workshops will cover energy basics, maintenance and troubleshooting and other topics.

The other three workshops are scheduled for the summer in Beckley, Charleston and Martinsburg.
