ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - The University of New Mexico has announced it is conducting a nationwide search for its vice president for human resources.

The schools said Wednesday that it is working to put together the a diverse search committee and will hiring Florida-based recruiting company Greenwood/Asher & Associates, Inc. to identify potential candidates.

Officials say they hope to hire a person for the position by Aug. 1.

The position will provide leadership and direction to all facets of human resources management for the university.
