EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) - A southwestern Indiana judge has ordered a 28-year-old Evansville man suspected in his uncle’s killing held without bond until prosecutors file formal charges in the case.

Antonio D. Handley appeared Thursday for a probable cause hearing before a Vanderburgh County judge who ordered him held without bond. The judge also gave prosecutors until Tuesday to file formal charges in the case.

Handley is jailed on preliminary murder and robbery charges in the killing of 49-year-old Darryl Foster.

A probable cause affidavit released Thursday says investigators believe Handley stabbed Foster multiple times in the neck with a pocket knife. Relative found Foster’s body Wednesday in a recliner in his Evansville apartment.

The affidavit says Handley told police he stabbed Foster in the neck until “he knew he was done.”
