BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Paul Sukut has been named CEO and general manager at North Dakota-based Basin Electric Power Cooperative.
Sukut has been serving as interim CEO since January. He was previously the company’s chief financial officer.
Basin Electric board president Wayne Peltier says Sukut did a good job handling the transition after Andy Serri resigned as CEO.
Sukut has been employed with Basin Electric since 1983.
Basin Electric is regional cooperative headquartered in Bismarck. It generates and transmits electricity to 137 member systems in nine states, including North and South Dakota.
