EUREKA, Ill. (AP) - Former President Ronald Reagan’s alma mater plans to mark the 10th anniversary of his death next month.
Eureka College says it will hold a ceremony the morning of June 5 at the central Illinois school’s Peace Garden.
Ann Lewis is president of the board of directors at the Ronald Reagan Boyhood Home and Visitors Center in Dixon. She will speak during the ceremony.
Reagan graduated from Eureka College in 1932. The small private school is located about 25 miles northwest of Bloomington.
Reagan was born in Tampico (TAM’-puh-koh) in northwest Illinois and grew up in nearby Dixon.
