LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Rainy weather is forcing the postponement of some opening rounds of Arkansas state tournament games for baseball, softball and soccer.

Several games set for Thursday have been pushed back because of wet fields. For baseball, games are delayed until Friday for the 7A tournament in North Little Rock, the 5A tournament in Jacksonville, the 4A tournament in Nashville and the 2A tournament in Woodlawn.

Games are still set for Thursday for the 6A, 3A and 1A tournaments.

For softball, Friday games are now planned for the 7A tournament in Conway, the 5A tournament in Jacksonville, the 4A tournament in Monticello and 2A tournament in Marked Tree. All other classifications are still set for Thursday.

In soccer, only the 4A tournament at Burns Park in North Little Rock is delayed.
