MADISON, Wis. (AP) - The state Department of Transportation hopes Donald Driver can help convince more people to buckle up.

The former Green Bay Packers wide receiver will headline DOT’s annual statewide Click It or Ticket campaign, when police intensify enforcement of seat-belt laws. This year’s campaign is set to run from May 19 through June 1.

Driver appeared at a news conference at the Urban Leauge of Greater Madison on Thursday alongside DOT officials to promote the campaign. He’ll also appear in statewide television, radio and online messages urging people to use their seat-belts.
