VIENNA (AP) - Austria coach Marcel Koller has replaced three regular starters because of injuries in his team for upcoming friendlies against Iceland and the Czech Republic.

Captain Christian Fuchs (knee) and midfielders Veli Kavlak and Martin Harnik (both shoulder) are recovering from surgery and missing from the 23-man squad announced Thursday by Koller.

The trio has been replaced by Salzburg players Andreas Ulmer and Stefan Ilsanker and Mainz midfielder Julian Baumgartlinger.

Rapid Vienna’s Guido Burgstaller has been left out of the team in favor of Salzburg midfielder Valentino Lazaro, who received his first call up.

Austria plays Iceland in Innsbruck on May 30 and the Czech Republic in Olomouc four days later. All three teams failed to qualify for the World Cup in Brazil.
