ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Online marketplace Etsy is moving its operations to new headquarters in Brooklyn.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Tuesday says the new Etsy location, in Brooklyn’s DUMBO neighborhood, is slated to create 340 jobs.

The online marketplace for vintage and handmade goods is expected to move to its new headquarters by 2016 and increase the total number of employees to 740 by 2019.

Cuomo says Etsy supports more than 55,000 micro-businesses in the state. The company will be receiving a $5 million state tax credit tied to job creation and investment commitments.
