OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The Red Cross of Oklahoma is scheduled to announce millions of dollars in storm shelter grants to several communities affected by the 2013 tornadoes.

The agency plans to announce the grants Thursday to help Oklahoma homeowners affected by last May’s tornadoes install new storm shelters.

The Red Cross has already awarded Moore a $3.75 million grant for the shelters and a $48,000 grant to Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity for the installation of 20 storm shelters in newly built homes.
