Sen. Marco Rubio signaled Wednesday he is considering a run for the White House but that he hasn’t made up his mind yet.
“I don’t know if I’m going to run yet,” the Florida Republican said on CNBC’s “Squawk Box.” “I’ll know by the end of this year, early next year, because … my Senate term is up as well. So I’ll have to make a decision whether I want to stay here in the U.S. Senate and continue to make a difference or run for another spot.”
CNBC co-anchors wrapped up the interview by joking about who was more Cuban — Mr. Rubio or his potential GOP rival for the president, Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas — because one of the hosts is a Cuban-American.
