MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Frontier Airlines says it is expanding its offering of flights in Memphis to include the nation’s capital.

Denver-based Frontier said Tuesday it is adding four weekly flights from Memphis International Airport to Washington Dulles Airport starting Sept. 8.

The Dulles flights will be offered Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

The Commercial Appeal (https://bit.ly/QFWpGt ) reports the airline is getting strong demand for Memphis-to-Denver flights, which began in March.

Scott Brockman, president and chief executive officer of the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority, says flights provide passengers with a new low-cost option to a popular destination.
