TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - U.S. Border Patrol agents working in southern Arizona have seized more than $1 million worth of drugs and have made 20 arrests over the past week.

In one case, agents arrested two U.S. citizens after finding nearly 100 wrapped bricks of marijuana hidden in the cabin and door panels of the sedan they were driving near Tombstone.

In another case, agents working in the Tucson area found $13,000 worth of methamphetamine hidden under the lining of a baby’s car seat.

A stop near Kupk last Thursday netted 15 people who were believed to be in the country illegally as well as 1,900 pounds of marijuana.

Aside from the drugs, agents say the seized two vehicles, a shotgun and some ammunition.
