HUTCHINSON, Kan. (AP) - Police in Hutchinson are looking for a man who burglarized 19 downtown businesses during an overnight crime spree.

The break-ins happened late Tuesday into early Wednesday. The man used a crowbar to break glass and pry doors open, then stole cash and petty change.

Based on surveillance photos, police describe the burglar as a white male, about 5-foot-6 to 6 feet tall. He was wearing a dark zip-up jacket, jeans and white athletic shoes.

Among the businesses hit were insurance offices, medical clinics, a bakery, a pizza shop and an auto supply store.
