SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - Shreveport police say two people have died in a fiery crash.
The accident happened early Wednesday in the city’s Highland neighborhood.
Investigators say a pickup was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crashed into a tree.
When police arrived on scene, they found the truck in flames.
Police say a man and woman were still inside the pickup. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released the victims’ names.
