LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department has scheduled bridge inspections and road work that will mean the closing of lanes on some roadways.
AHTD says the outside eastbound lane of Interstate 440 from mile marker 9 to mile marker 10 in North Little Rock will be closed from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Wednesday for a bridge inspection.
The outside lane of westbound Highway 64 over the Arkansas River in Fort Smith will be shut between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday and the outside eastbound lane will be closed Thursday.
Work on Highway 10 in Little Rock will reduce westbound traffic to one lane at Allsop Park Road from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. The closing will resume next Monday and continue through May 22.
