GAINESVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Authorities say a woman has been charged with boating under the influence in a collision that left four people injured on Lake Lanier.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports (https://bit.ly/1hHzD8d ) a boat the woman was piloting crashed into another vessel just after dark Sunday. Authorities say one person suffered a broken leg, while the other injuries were less severe.

Capt. Thomas Barnard, a law enforcement officer with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, said 39-year-old Christina Jennings was charged with boating under the influence. It was not immediately known if she had an attorney.

Jennings and her passenger weren’t injured. Three of the people who did get hurt were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.
