CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming’s quarterly auction of oil and gas leases on state trust land has generated more than $12 million.
The Casper Star-Tribune reports(https://tinyurl.com/lgbxpm3 ) last Wednesday’s sale included leases on nearly 94 square miles of land.
The parcels were in Bighorn, Campbell, Carbon, Converse, Crook, Fremont, Goshen, Hot Springs, Johnson, Laramie, Natrona, Niobrara, Platte, Sheridan, Sweetwater, Uinta, Washakie and Weston counties.
The auction was held in Cheyenne. The next sale is scheduled for July 8.
