ANADARKO, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says its agents are investigating a shooting death in Anadarko.

The OSBI says it was called by the Caddo County Sheriff’s Office to help investigate after a woman reported early Monday afternoon that she had shot a man at the man’s home. The agency says 56-year-old Allyn Henry White was found dead in the home of an apparent gunshot wound to the chest.

The OSBI says the woman told investigators that White had hit her and threatened to kill her before she shot him. The woman has not been arrested and her name was not immediately released.
