WASHINGTON (AP) - The names of three Alabama residents have been added to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington.

The three were among more than a dozen people whose names were unveiled during a ceremony Sunday.

PFC Ronald Hall of Birmingham served as a medic in Vietnam. He died in 1967.

SP4 Thomas Charles Littles of Brewton was wounded in 1969 in Vietnam and died in 1971.

PFC Danny Joe Wilson of Florence received a Purple Heart after being injured while serving as an ammunition and light weapons bearer in 1966. He died in 2012.

Troops who served in the Vietnam theater are eligible to be added to the memorial if they died of combat-related injuries.

The wall bears the names of 58,300 people who were killed or remain missing in action.
