CONWAY, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas Department of Human Services says residents of Faulkner County who suffered losses due to last month’s severe weather may be eligible for food assistance.
The department says the disaster food assistance extends benefits to many households that would not ordinarily qualify.
Faulkner County residents who experienced damage to their home or self-employment business, loss of income or had disaster-related expenses may be eligible for the aid.
People can apply through Sunday at the Faulkner County DHS in Conway or the Disaster Recovery Centers in Mayflower or Vilonia.
