TULSA, Okla. (AP) - The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for portions of Oklahoma and Arkansas.
The watch covers Benton, Carroll, Crawford, Franklin, Madison, Sebastian and Washington counties in Arkansas. In Oklahoma, the watch covers Adair, Choctaw, Haskell, Latimer, Le Flore, Pittsburg, Pushmataha and Sequoyah counties.
The weather service says rainfall will become widespread by Monday afternoon and into the evening. Two to three inches of rain will be possible across portions of southeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas, with some places expected to see more than four inches.
