CARSON, Calif. (AP) - Wango Tango alum Adam Levine welcomed a new generation of concert-goers to the annual, daylong music festival Saturday.

Before performing his hit “Pay Phone” the Maroon 5 frontman recalled his Wango debut in 2004.

“Half of you guys weren’t even alive. So welcome,” said a platinum blond Levine.

Colombian singer Shakira, British rocker Ed Sheernan and EDM producer-DJ Tiesto were the final acts at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif.

A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera sang their emotional ballad “Say Something.” The pregnant pop star, who arrived late and breathless, said she had kicked off her heels and sprinted for the stage.

Other performers included Iggy Azalea, Ariana Grande, Calvin Harris, One Republic and Paramore.
