TOWN OF OTTAWA, Wis. (AP) - One person has died and another was injured in a house fire in the Town of Ottawa.
The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department says the fire was reported around 1:15 a.m. Sunday. Investigators say the fire started in a bedroom and remained confined to that area of the house.
The name of the victim has not been released. He died at the scene. Another person was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries.
The cause remains under investigation.
