KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - After spending their first two picks on defense, the Kansas City Chiefs might finally turn their attention to helping their offense on the final day of the NFL draft.
The Chiefs selected Auburn pass rusher Dee Ford in the first round Thursday night, and Rice defensive back Phillip Gaines in the third round, their lone pick on Friday night.
The biggest hole still remaining on the roster appears to be wide receiver, one of the deepest positions in the draft. But the Chiefs could also use depth along the offensive line after losing three players who started games last season to free agency.
Kansas City has four picks on Saturday, the final day of the draft.
