TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Through the first two days of the NFL draft, the Arizona Cardinals have addressed areas of need.

They head into the final day having found a safety in first-round pick Deone (DAY-ohn) Bucannon of Washington State and a tight end in second-rounder Troy Niklas of Notre Dame. With their two third-round picks, the Cardinals chose defensive end Kareem Martin of North Carolina and wide receiver John Brown of Pittsburg State of Kansas.

They have not picked a quarterback, a position they will someday have to address because 34-year-old Carson Palmer cannot play forever.

When asked about that following Friday’s selections, coach Bruce Arians said he’s been doing this a long time, and the quarterbacks available are not better than the three he has.
