INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - An Indianapolis-based tech company says it plans to expand its headquarters, adding hundreds of jobs.
Interactive Intelligence said Thursday afternoon that it plans to add 430 employees statewide by the end of 2016. The software firm currently employs 2,000 people, with about 1,200 of them in Indianapolis.
The software firm says it’s in negotiations to lease a $28 million building that will be built on the northwest side of Indianapolis. Construction is set to begin this summer and be completed late next year.
The Indianapolis Business Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1o7tQxi ) that the company had 2013 revenues of $318.2 million.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered the company up to $8.3 million in conditional tax credits and up to $300,000 in training grants based on its job-creation plans.
