DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) - A Singapore-based investment company wants to build a $300 million development in the growing city of Dickinson in North Dakota’s oil patch.

The Bismarck Tribune (https://bit.ly/1miy1oI ) reports that Barons Group of Companies wants to build a 280-acre residential and retail development in Dickinson next year. The development would be called Barons Vista.

Barons Vista would include a four-star hotel with a spa as well as condominiums, restaurants and shops.

Barons Group of Companies is currently building a hotel called Barons Lodge in Killdeer, 35 miles north of Dickinson.

Dickinson Community Development Director Ed Courton says the plans of the project are still in their early stages. He notes that the feasibility of the project will need to be taken into account.
