TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Former Gov. Jeb Bush is a favorite among Florida Republican voters in a hypothetical 2016 primary presidential matchup.
Bush has leads over fellow Floridian Marco Rubio as well as other well known Republicans such as U.S. Sen. Rand Paul in a survey of more than 1,400 registered voters. The margin of error is plus or minus 2.6 points.
Bush leads in a GOP contest with 27 percent compared to 14 percent for Paul and 11 percent for Rubio.
But the poll shows that Hillary Clinton would beat any potential Republican challengers in a head-to-head matchup.
The poll also shows that a majority of Floridians have negative feelings about the job President Barack Obama is doing. He has a 46 percent to 50 percent job approval rating.
