HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - Gov. Tom Corbett is reporting about $23,000 in travel in gifts for last year in the annual statement of financial interests required of Pennsylvania’s public officials.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reported Thursday (https://bit.ly/1hYnpMj ) the governor disclosed an economic development trip to South America, a golf pass, dinners and concert and sports tickets.

The paper says a senior House Democrat, Rep. Dwight Evans of Philadelphia, took six tickets to see Beyonce last July, valued at $750.

It’s reporting that Centre County state Sen. Jake Corman, a Republican, is reporting a $6,600 trip to London paid for by the European Life Settlement Association. Corman says he spoke at the group’s conference.

Those are some of the many reports filed by Thursday’s deadline. There’s growing support in Harrisburg for a blanket ban on gifts.
