NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - A resource fair will be held to help veterans with education, jobs, training, health care and other issues.

The fair is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at Gateway Community College in New Haven, in Room N-100 of the North Building.

U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro plans to speak at 10:30 a.m. Other participants include Quinnipiac University, the U.S. Small Business Administration, Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs, Wells Fargo and Mohegan Sun.

Veterans will be able to meet with local businesses and access resources.

Connecticut’s unemployment rate was 7.4 percent in December.
