MONTEGUT, La. (AP) - A Terrebonne Parish parade originally scheduled for Mardi Gras but canceled because of a winter storm may be rescheduled after Easter.

Officials of the Krewe de Bonne Terre tell The Courier (https://bit.ly/1qbE024 ) they are working to obtain new permits.

Krewe captain Sterry Naquin says the organization hopes to parade in Montegut after the Easter holiday.

Mardi Gras was the final day of Carnival. The solemn season of Lent, leading to Easter, began on Ash Wednesday.
