MIAMI (AP) - A fourth aftershock from an earthquake that occurred in Cuba two months ago was felt in parts of the Florida Keys.
The Miami Herald reports (https://hrld.us/1cMOqfR ) that Sunday morning’s 4.7-magnitude quake that struck about 17 miles of Corralillo, Cuba was the fourth aftershock from the original 5.0 quake in Cuba on Jan. 9.
Sunday’s quake was felt in the lower to middle of the Florida Keys and was not strong enough to cause damage there or in Cuba.
Officials at the National Earthquake Information Center said the other three aftershocks were not as strong as Sunday’s quake, and that only one 7/8- on Feb. 4 7/8- produced reports in Cuba of light shaking.
