HIROSHIMA, Japan (AP) - Tsukasa Shiotani scored a last-minute freekick to give defending champion Sanfrecce Hiroshima a 2-1 home win over Kawasaki Frontale in the J-League on Saturday.
Yu Kobayashi put Kawasaki ahead just before the break but Sanfrecce equalized in the 55th minute through Hisato Sato and Shiotani then secured three points for the hosts with a free kick from 17 meters in the final minute of stoppage time.
Elsewhere, Keisuke Iwashita and Kotaro Omori scored second-half goals to lead Gamba Osaka to a 2-0 win over Albirex Niigata while Cerezo Osaka beat newly-promoted Tokushima Vortis by the same score.
Nagoya Grampus edged Omiya Ardija 2-1 on goals from Keiji Tamada and Yoshizumi Ogawa. Kashiwa Reysol and Vissel Kobe finished 1-1 as did FC Tokyo and Venforet Kofu.
Yasushi Endo scored both goals to lead Kashima Antlers to a 2-0 win over Vegalta Sendai. Yokoama F Marinos beat Shimizu S-Pulse 1-0 courtesy of a 13th-minute strike by Manabu Saito.
Japan international Yohei Toyoda scored the only goal as Sagan Tosu stayed undefeated after a 1-0 win over Urawa Reds.
