WYMORE, Neb. (AP) - The Wymore police chief is resigning to take a new job with Gage County.

Beatrice radio station KWBE says (https://bit.ly/1cED8tX ) Bryan Davidson will be a sergeant for the Gage County Sheriff’s Office and oversee security at the county courthouse.

Davidson will begin working for the county on March 17.

Besides a chief, the Wymore Police Department has three full-time and five part-time officers.
