GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - A University of North Dakota professor is slated join a group of researchers in China next week to discuss greenhouse gas emissions.

Wayne Seames is professor of chemical engineering. UND says he will join researchers from the U.S. and China for the workshop.

China and the U.S. are the top two generators of emissions from fossil-fuel combustion.

UND says the researchers from the two countries “will gain a broader perspective on global combustion and sustainable energy challenges, which they can incorporate into their teaching and research programs.”
