GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - Christian Adams scored 29 points and Nick Card had a double-double as Fargo Oak Grove beat Linton-HMB 76-68 Friday in the semifinals of the North Dakota Class B boys basketball tournament.

Adams had 17 points in the first half for the Grovers (25-2), who advanced to Saturday’s championship game for the first time since capturing the title in 2000.

Card had 11 points and 18 rebounds and Carter Kretchman tossed in 18 points.

Linton-HMB (21-5) got as close as four points with less than two minutes to play, but Oak Grove scored six points in 20 seconds to put it away. Carter Kretchman hit one of his two 3-pointers and Adams converted a three-point play.

Johnathon Purintun led the way with 19 points for the Lions. Ryan Schneider had 15 points and 12 rebounds and Austin Bernhardt added 10.
