LOS ANGELES (AP) - Authorities say seven people were injured when an SUV ran head-on into a public bus in Los Angeles.

Metro spokesman Paul Gonzalez (https://lat.ms/1fG8o1z ) told the Los Angeles Times that the 30-year-old SUV driver, who careened off a concrete barrier before plowing into the bus Tuesday night in the San Fernando Valley, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

The two drivers and five bus passengers were taken to a hospital. Gonzalez says none of the injuries were critical and all the victims were stable but gave no further details.
