DETROIT (AP) - Detroit police say they’ve arrested three men in the fatal shooting of a security guard who intervened during a carjacking outside a CVS pharmacy.

Police say they arrested two men earlier and picked up a third suspect Wednesday afternoon in a community north of Detroit following a tip.

Police also say one of the men has confessed to the Feb. 26 slaying of 24-year-old Courtney Meeks at a CVS on the city’s northwest side.

According to investigators, a CVS customer alerted Meeks after seeing two men with guns ordering a woman and a child from her car in the parking lot.

Police say Meeks was shot once in the neck when he approached the car.
