MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The Minnesota Supreme Court will review when a Scott County District judge took the oath of office.

The review is the result of a challenge by a Mendota Heights man who doesn’t want Judge Caroline Lennon to hear his divorce case. John Myser says Lennon is biased and should recuse herself from his case. She was refused.

Lennon presided over several hundred cases since her election in 2010. But, Myser says there was no oath of office on file when he checked with the secretary of state. Weeks later, Lennon’s oath was filed with the secretary’s office.

The Star Tribune (https://strib.mn/1cz00uS ) reports the high court has accepted the case, even though lower courts have ruled in Lennon’s favor.
