Sarah Palin took to Sean Hannity airwaves this week to discuss her 2008 predictions that Russia’s Vladimir Putin would take advantage of President Obama’s weak overseas policies — and to take a more personal jab at the president.
Ms. Palin first said to the Fox News host that the Russian invasion of Crimea shows her prediction to be true.
“Anybody who carries the common-sense gene knows that Putin doesn’t change his stripes,” she said.
She then went on to say that a weak United States opens the door for other nations, like Russia, to take the international stage — a scenario that leads to bold foreign strikes, such as the one going forth in the Ukraine.
Ms. Palin then said that Mr. Putin is seen as a leader who “wrestles bears and drills for oil,” while Mr. Obama is perceived as one with serious “weakness,” and as a man who “wears mom jeans and equivocates and bloviates,” Mediaite reported.
She also went on to say that Mr. Obama’s main foreign policy is “leading from behind,” and other nations will soon be “taking advantage of that weakness in America at this point,” Mediaite reported.
