CASSOPOLIS, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say a barn fire in southwestern Michigan has killed about eight calves and damaged several pieces of farm equipment, including two tractors.
The South Bend (Ind.) Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1g7JXoL ) crews responded about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday to the fire in Cass County, just southeast of Cassopolis.
No people were injured in the fire. Penn Township Fire Chief Jim Bogue says firefighters spent nearly six hours at the scene.
