Sen. John Barrasso has accused the Obama administration — which just claimed more than 6 million Americans have enrolled in Obamacare — of spinning the numbers on the federal health care overhaul and “cooking the books.”

Mr. Barrasso said, on “Fox News Sunday” about the figures: “I don’t think it means anything. I think they’re cooking the books on this.”

And as Huffington Post elaborated, he questioned the context of the numbers released by the White House.

“What kind of insurance will those people actually have? Will they be able to keep the doctor that they want? How much more is it going to cost them? We know that some of the best cancer hospitals in the country want very little to do with people that actually buy this insurance on the Obamacare exchanges,” he said.

The White House still hasn’t released how many of the 6 million enrollment figure actually paid for and obtained their chosen insurance plan, The New York Post reported.

“People want to know the answers to that,” Mr. Barrasso said, on the Fox show.

Meanwhile, the White House has granted yet another delay to Obamacare. Those who started the enrollment process but haven’t yet finished will be allowed a two-week grace period past the March 31 deadline.
