SOPER, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is looking into a homicide in Choctaw County.

The OSBI says a passerby called the Oklahoma Highway Patrol Sunday at approximately 8:45 a.m. to report a man passed out in a pickup truck near an intersection four miles west of Soper. Once the trooper arrived on the scene and realized man was dead from a possible gunshot wound, the sheriff’s office was notified.

The OSBI says the victim is 22-year-old Angel Ramirez Huerta of the Choctaw County area. He was inside a dark-colored Chevy pickup truck with a 4-wheeler in the back. OSBI is searching for any witnesses who may have seen another vehicle parked beside the victim’s truck Saturday to Sunday morning.
