When it comes to women in the White House, Sarah Palin takes the cake in Americans’ eyes, a new poll found.
The Economist/YouGov poll asked participants which female candidate — other than Hillary Clinton — they’d like to see run for the high office.
Mrs. Palin won 9 percent of the vote, Breitbart reported. She was followed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren and former Secretary of State and National Security Adviser Condoleeza Rice, at 8 percent each.
Almost two-thirds of respondents said America was more than ready to elect a woman to president.
First lady Michelle Obama only won 2 percentage points, followed by 1 each for Nikki Haley, Michele Bachmann, Dianne Feinstein and Kirsten Gillibrand.
