CHICAGO (AP) - A memorial has been scheduled for a father and daughter from northern Illinois who were killed when a small plane the man was piloting crashed in Florida.

Fifty-three-year-old Jeffrey Bronken and his 15-year-old daughter, Katherine, were from Round Lake, 40 miles northwest of Chicago.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports (https://bit.ly/PauIF6 ) that a memorial wake will be held from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the Cultural and Civic Center in Round Lake Beach.

A funeral for both of them will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Bede Church in Ingleside.

Their plane nose-dived on March 22 after the pilot reported fuel-related issues to air traffic controllers. He was killed in the crash; his daughter died Wednesday of her injuries. A 15-year-old friend of the girl survived but remains hospitalized.
