WASHINGTON (AP) - Officials with the U.S. Department of Agriculture will host an online forum to discuss types of credit and financing options available to new farmers and ranchers.
The Google+ Hangout is scheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Agriculture officials say the discussion will cover credit and financial options from the USDA as well as outside groups including the Farm Credit Council.
Officials say farmers and ranchers who have already received a credit from these sources will offer advice to others during the forum.
People interested in joining the discussion should visit the USDA’s Google+ page or go to www.usda.gov/live .
Questions can be submitted ahead of time through social media.
