FARGO, N.D. (AP) - In a story March 29 about the North Dakota Democratic convention, The Associated Press erroneously reported the birth year of House candidate George B. Sinner based on information supplied by the state Democratic Party. Sinner was born in 1953, not 1963.

NAME: George B. Sinner

BIRTHDATE: Aug. 1, 1953, in Fargo.

RUNNING FOR: U.S. House of Representatives.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in political science, University of North Dakota.

OCCUPATION: Banker.

POLITICAL EXPERIENCE: Elected to the state Senate in 2012 from District 46 in Fargo.

FAMILY: Married to Margaret Sinner. Two children. Son of former governor George A. Sinner and Jane Sinner.

NAME: April Fairfield

BIRTHDATE: April 2, 1969, in St. Cloud, Minn.

RUNNING FOR: Secretary of State.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in history and political science, Jamestown College.

OCCUPATION: Executive director, Head Injury Association of North Dakota.

POLITICAL EXPERIENCE: Served in the North Dakota Legislature, 1996-2006. Elected to the House in 1996 from Eldridge. Elected to Senate in 2002.

FAMILY: Married to Steve DeLap. One daughter.

NAME: Todd Reisenauer

BIRTHDATE: July 30, 1975, in Dickinson.

RUNNING FOR: Public Service Commissioner (six-year term).

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree, sociology, North Dakota State University; master’s degree, management, University of Mary.

OCCUPATION: Software consulting and sales management.

POLITICAL EXPERIENCE: This is his first campaign for public office.

FAMILY: Married to Amy Jacobson. One daughter.
