COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) - Wintry weather is postponing an event to promote Prince George’s County as a new home for the FBI.

Gov. Martin O’Malley was scheduled to join Sens. Barbara Mikulski and Ben Cardin at the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center at the University of Maryland, College Park on Monday, but a winter storm has postponed the event. Rep. Steny Hoyer and Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker were also scheduled to attend.

The new FBI headquarters is estimated to be a $2 billion economic development project and home to 11,000 jobs.
