LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Longtime Baptist Health president and CEO Russell Harrington Jr. has announced plans to retire.
Harrington said Monday that he will retire on July 1 after 40 years with the health system. He was named Baptist Health’s president and CEO in 1984 after previously working as associate executive director and as administrator for what is now Arkansas’ largest health care organization.
Troy Wells, currently the senior vice president of administrative services at Baptist Health, was named by the organization’s board of trustees as the new president and CEO upon Harrington’s retirement.
